These women are beautiful regardless of whether they wear their hair straight or curly. My question for Latina, is why aren't there more/any curly hair girls on your covers. As Latinas, our hair comes in all shapes and curls should be worshiped just as much as their straight counterpart. In fact, I grew up believing that straight hair was more beautiful, polished, and professional. I started having my hair chemically straightened at around age 5. I have learned to embrace my God given curls and feel more confident and beautiful than ever. Latina, please showcase more curly haired women so that women and young girls understand that they are beautiful curls and all.

I want to say that I also voted. Personally I prefer Shakira with straight hair. Perhaps, that's because I prefer straight hair itself)))))))) But I think that she looks more womanly or so with straight hair. If with curls, she is associated with a madcap:-) You may compare it also. I downloaded a set of her photos from torrents http://www.torrentbasket.com Everything becomes obvious on viewing them, I believe.

I think straight hair has a more "POLISHED" look....and thats coming from me, who has hair curlier than Shaki....but as I have done, and think others like Shakira should sacrifice the polished and typical Hollywood look for the UNIQUENESS that comes with curly hair!

I love it when Shakira wears her hair naturally curly! If you have it, show it off! It gives her hair so much more body as well. It's interesting that the majority of people who have voted say they prefer Shakira's curls as well.
