Demi Lovato is a fitness fiend, and has no plans of stopping now. The singer has always been a body confident, health-driven spokesperson, so much so that she recently teamed up with Kate Hudson for a new Fabletics line.
For Lovato, working out isn't just about getting a tight bod — it's a form of therapy and relaxtion. "I feel the most confident when I’m in the gym,” she told Us Weekly. “Whenever I’m training — whether it’s boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu." No wonder she considered becoming a UFC fighter herself.
Of course, it's not all about the physical workouts. Lovato makes sure to keep her head in check with daily affirmations. "Looking in the mirror, telling myself I'm beautiful no matter what and just learning to accept my flaws for what they are and knowing that, you know, my curves are beautiful, and I am who I am," she explained. "I hope to inspired [young women] by getting in the gym, getting healthy, feeling comfortable in their skin."
And when it comes to showing off all her hard work, the Texas-bred beauty tries to give her followers an unfiltered version, and tries not to get nervous about it all, either, "I'm so excited to post those," she said, regarding her recent bikini selfies.
