This isn't good...
Despite being in fear for her life, Jennifer Lopez has lost the restraining order against a man she alleges has been stalking her for a long period of time. According to E! News, the 47-year-old's temporary restraining order is now void, and the case has been dismissed by the judge "due to lack of prosecution."
TMZ reports the fault lies on J.Lo's security team, who apparently didn't show up for the court date on Tuesday after deeming it useless since they've been unable to track down 64-year-old Timothy McLanahan to serve him the papers.
Lopez filed the document earlier this month, which stated that McLanahan was required to stay at least 100 yards away from the Puerto Rican superstar and her children. It was only valid until Tuesday. McLanahan had reportedly followed J.Lo across state lines, attended her Las Vegas residency show, sent her flowers, and showed up to her house demanding to see her.
The Shades of Blue star's bodyguards also alleged that McLanahan had a violent past and had been previously arrested for "firearms violations and threats."
