We may see Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony together again soon. but not as a couple!
E Online has just confirmed that the 42-year-old Boricua singer/actress is set to perform at this year’s American Music Awards. 43-year-old salsero Anthony is also slated to perform alongside our main man, Cuban rapper Pitbull. Mr. 305, who is nominated for two awards, is hosting the awards ceremony, which will be held this upcoming Sunday at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
J.Lo's obviously pumped up for the AMAs. “Im super excited 4 the AMAs!! Big announcement next week!” she tweeted last week. “Have you voted yet??” By voting, J.Lo most likely meant the award she is up for. As we reported last month, the superstar is nominated for Favorite Artist in Latin Music; she is pitted against Pitbull and Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias for the title.
People recently reported that J.Lo will perform a three-song medley of her hits "Papi," "Until It Beats No More," and "On The Floor," her collaboration smash hit with Pitbull, which has enjoyed amazing momentum. La Lopez has officially become the “Queen of YouTube” as the video for “On the Floor” recently surpassed Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” music video as the most watched by a female artist. With more than 400 million views, this is an obviously impressive accomplishment for the pop star! In addition, Lopez is also reportedly set to perform a duet with Will.i.am from The Black Eyed Peas, who's debuting his single.
Hmm, maybe Lopez, Anthony and Pitbull can do a cool three-way mashup of their two songs at the AMA's...You heard it here first chicas! Check out the video below:
