Are you ready for more inmate craziness? Orange is the New Black returns to Netflix for season 2 on June 6! Fans will see a different side of Piper Chapman this season and we hear some changes are coming for Daya, too. "She's maturing," Dascha Polanco tells us in our June/July 2014 issue. "Daya is trying to mend her relationship with her mother but she still has a lot of internal conflict."
The Fosters, the one-hour drama on ABC Family about a multi-ethnic family mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, returns with a compelling second season on June 16. When the show makes its return, Brandon (played by David Lambert) struggles to recover and come to terms with his guilt over sleeping with Dani. Meanwhile, Jesus (played by Jake T. Austin) and Emma’s relationship impacts Emma’s standing with her teammates, which causes tension between them. And Mariana (played by Cierra Ramirez) has undergone a big change, we can't wait to find out what it is. Season one is available on Netflix now, go ahead and get caught up!
If you aren't already a fan of Pretty Little Liars, now is the perfect time to become one. Honduran American actress Chloe Bridges, who played Donna LaDonna on The CW's The Carrie Diaries for two seasons, is joining the cast of the extremely popular ABC Family for its fifth season. Rasuk told us movie goers will be "blown away by all the battle scenes and all the graphics."
X-Men of the past and future come face-to-face in order to save mutants from devastating extinction in X-Men: Days of Future Past. In the latest film of the X-Men franchise, fans meet mutants that weren't introduced in past films, including Sunspot (played by Mexican actor Adan Canto). The movie hits theaters May 23!
Puerto Rican and Chinese actor, Kirk Acevedo, joins the Planet of the Apes franchise as a mechanic named Carver in Dawn of Planet of the Apes. "It's all about survival," Acevedo tell us about the film in our "Hot Guys" issue. "The human survivors stumble upon a colony of the apes and problems ensue." Dawn of the Planet of the Apes swings into theaters on July 11.
In Think Like a Man Too, the gang hits up Las Vegas for competing bachelor and bachelorette parties. La La Anthony and Meagan Good reunite with their Think Like a Man castmates for even more battle-of-the-sexes comedy, out on June 20.
Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez stars as Mendoza in this thriller about a controversial priest with exorcism experience who is enlisted by a NYC cop to help investigate bizarre murders. Based on real life events, Deliver Us From Evil is in theaters July 2.
Cameron Diaz reunites with her Bad Teacher co-star, Jason Segel, for a comedy that will have you in tears from all the laughter. Sex Tape follows a married couple (Diaz and Segel) who try to spice things up in the bedroom by filming themselves trying out every position in The Joy of Sex. When their sex tape goes missing, they go on a crazy road trip to reclaim it. Watch it all unfold on July 25!
Zoe Saldana goes green in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, starring as fierce and deadly Gamora. Benicio del Toro also stars as the Collector in this film sure to be this year's summer blockbuster. Guardians of the Galaxy is due out August 1.
Ready for some more Expendables action? Antonio Banderas joins the The Expendables 3 as one of the latest recruits tapped to help battle nemesis Conrad Stonebanks (played by Mel Gibson). See it in theaters August 15.
Jessica Alba is back as Nancy Callahan in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Millers's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Rosario Dawson is also reprising her role as Gail, the leader of an all-girl gang. The film makes it way to theaters on August 22!
Jessabelle stars mexicana Ana de la Reguera. The actress plays a physical therapist enlisted to help a young women in regaining the use of her legs after she suffered a tragic accident, only to find there's a ghost set on kiling this young woman. Jessabelle will be in theaters on August 29.
