For decades Latinas and women of color have loved Disney princesses, but express how legendary it would be to see a Latin princess. The 37-year-old showed her excited with a captioned photo on Instagram, "Find myself in this magical place where different worlds can collide; love is real and happy endings exist once we allow ourselves to be open minded enough to belief." The Dominicana actress, who stole hearts in her leading role on Devious Maids, will now be making her fairy tale debut along side Alison Fernandez (Lucy) who has her book of fairy tales and goes in search of her father, a grown-up Andrew J. West (Henry).

“Dania Ramirez will be playing a different version of Cinderella,” said Kitsis. “If we remember Henry’s grandfather is Prince Charming, Josh Dallas so we have the grandson of Prince Charming with a new Cinderella.”

The former First Response star sent love to her Latinas everywhere in her baby blue dream dress gracing social media as Cinderella. "This one is for all of us! #Latina#DominicanAmerican I'm living a real life#fairytale  The shoe fit! Introducing the #OnceUponATime woman of the hour: Cinderella! #Fairytale." Ramirez has a true Cinderella story herself, as she grew up with her grandmother in a poor household. At 10-years-old, the brunette beauty knew she wanted to pursue a career in acting and was discovered by a scout for a soda commercial. After college, Ramirez moved to Los Angeles and the rest was history.
