Jennifer Lopez and her production company, Nuyorican Productions, are developing a new unnamed series about a gay couple for ABC, reports The Hollywood Reporter. According to the publication, J.Lo will serve as executive producer for the series, which will showcase a lesbian couple adopting a teenager. Co-creators and writers Peter Paige and Brad Bredeweg, Simon Fields, and Greg Gugliotta are also confirmed to work on the new drama series.

J.Lo, who is currently on tour with Enrique Iglesias, already has several shows under her belt as executive producer including, Univision's Q'Viva: The Chosen, MTV's Dancelife, and the series Amigas Inc. on MTV Tr3s.

In May, J.Lo topped Forbes list of the World’s Most Powerful Celebrities, earning an estimated $52 million in a year. We have a feeling that number is only going to multiple by the time 2012 is over!

What do you think about J.Lo’s new project?
