Award-winning talk show veteran Cristina Saralegui finally made her return to television! The Cuban American, whose Spanish-language talk show El Show de Cristina (The Cristina Show) ran for more than two decades on Univision before she was until unceremoniously canceled in 2010, is back with a new show on network rival Telemundo.

The 63-year-old will host Pa’lante Con Cristina, which promises to deliver “candid, revealing conversations with popular personalities.” Pa’lante is part of a Cuban expression used often by Saralegui, who would conclude each episode of her old show with it, along with her optimistic thumbs-up salute.

Pa’lante Con Cristina will premiere October 9 at 7 p.m. EST on Telemundo. The episode will feature two hours of exclusive interviews with celebrities, musical performances, and debates on current topics. Saralegui, often dubbed "the Spanish Oprah," joined Telemundo earlier this summer to executively produce a weekly variety program on XM Radio.
