X-Factor Recap: Demi Lovato Gets Emotional Over Bully Victim

Facebook

Sure, the X-Factor may be all about finding new talent, but our attention was on Demi Lovato and Britney Spears for most of the premiere last night.

While the promos showed the "Give Your Heart a Break" singer as a tough cookie, her judging skills were a bit on the emotional side. Especially once bully victim Jillian Jensen, 20, took the stage and covered Jessie J’s “Who You Are.” Let’s face it -- everyone grabbed the box of tissues after her performance! Even the iceman Simon Cowell looked ready to shed a tear.

Although, we consider bonding with a judge over similar tattoos cheating! We saw right through her matching “Stay strong” tattoo!

Latina contestant Jenell Garcia, 19, who covered “Paris” by Grace Potter & the Nocturnals also proved to be someone to keep out eyes on. Her raspy rock vocals reminded us of Demi’s signature delivery. Looks like she has been taking notes.

Another highlight of the night was when Shawn Armenta, 50, dissed Demi for using auto tune after she trashed his weak performance and said singing “is not for everybody.” Bueno, at least her homegirl Britney Spears had her back and said, “Is he serious, who let him on stage?”

We like the chemistry ladies! What did you think about last night’s premiere?
