Today will prove to be a huge milestone in Oscar de la Renta's career. The longtime fashion designer is being honored at the 2013 CFDA Awards by none other than his good friend, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Hillary will be presenting ODLR with the CFDA Founders Award - an award truly well-deserved by this design veteran.

The 80-year-old Dominican and Puerto Rican designer has over 25 years in the fashion business. His career has brought him close to some of the industry's biggest names, including Vogue's Anna Wintour. And let's not forget about his huge fan base! From Penelope Cruz to Selena Gomez, Hollywood's Latinas are often seen shining on the red carpet with Oscar's lovely gowns. ODLR has truly shaped the world of design and his popularity continues to rise.

Congratulations, Oscar! We look forward to many more years of seeing your supreme ladylike designs on the runway.
