Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez and series creator Jennie Snyder Urman teased the end of the hit CW comedy at the Television Critics Association spring tour on Thursday.

The fifth and final season is set to premiere on March 27.

"It was very emotional watching that and remembering this journey, thank you for all of your support over the years. It's been incredible," Snyder Urman told journalists during the early session.

Rodriguez, who won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy for her portrayal of Jane Villanueva, addressed whether she plans to focus more on films like Miss Bala now that she's leaving the small screen.

"If I am blessed enough to continue to act and to do it in spaces like the ones Jennie has created for me, I would be a very, very lucky human being," she explained. " So we'll see what life holds.

I'll keep working hard, and we'll see how my journey opens up. But I definitely want to keep acting. I do want to create opportunities for others  that means a lot to me  and definitely direct."

Both Rodriguez and Urman opened up about the potential spin-off Jane the Novela, with both agreeing that the former would serve as narrator of the series.

"Oh, yes.  I mean, I am  if you want to talk about manifesting your future, it will go," Rodriguez said about narrating Novelas. " It is fantastic. The pilot is unbelievable.

Jennie, I've been able to have this incredible role model that gives opportunities to so many, and Valentina, who was one of our writers on "Jane," a fantastic writer, has put together a phenomenal spin-off, and we hope that we can give something just as great as we did with "Jane The Virgin."
