Julio Iglesias was honored this past weekend for his decades-long career.
The 68-year-old legend, who is the best-selling Spanish recording artist of all time both at home and abroad, spend the last day of his “public life” in Madrid, Spain on Friday. During a press conference held at the Cervantes Institute, the singer accepted the award by his compatriot, tennis player Rafael Nadal.

Julio Iglesias finally wed his girlfriend of 25 years, Miranda Rijnsburguer, in Marbella, Spain last week. The two have five children together.
Iglesias, 66, was a notorious Lothario for years before meeting the Dutch model. The couple married in an intimate Catholic ceremony attended by only their children and two witnesses. It is Julio's second marriage.
