As spring approaches, musical festivals are making a comeback across the U.S. Many of today’s Latin music stars have plans to appear at major festivals like Coachella, and there are also multiple festivals coming up centered on Latin music artists.
The line-up for this year’s Coachella Music Festival features multiple Latin acts among the headliners. Coachella will be back for two weekends, April 15-17 and 22-24. Among the top-billed headliners are Colombian reggaetonera Karol G and Brazilian superstar Anitta. The headliners on the line-up also include top-selling Mexican banda groups: Grupo Firme and Banda MS. Other acts to look forward to are: The Marías, Omar Apollo, Pabllo Vittar, Ed Maverick, Nicki Nicole, and Jessie Reyez. And this is just a mention of the few of the fantastic Latin artists who are performing.

Chimbala y El Movimiento

Rising Dominican artist Chimbala will be leading a concert in New York City that will be spotlighting a lot of talent from his island. He recently collaborated with Natti Natasha and El Alfa for the dembow bop “Wow BB.” Joining him at Chimbala y El Movimiento will be El Alfa, and Dominican rappers Mozart La Para, Bulova, and Dowba Montana. Chucky 73, a star in the drill music scene, and Aventura’s Lenny and Max Santos will also be performing. Expect plenty of bachata and dembow music. Puerto Rico and reggaeton will be in the house with Zion y Lennox, Lenny Tavárez, Juhn, and Justin Quiles. Colombian DJ Alex Sensation will also be spinning music. Chimbala y El Movimiento is happening on March 26 at the United Palace.
Los Dells Festival

Los Dells Festival is returning to San Bernardino in April. It’s one of the few Latin music festivals in Southern California. The festival is also one of the most varied in terms of genres represented in the line-up. This year’s festival is headed by Puerto Rican superstar Ozuna, Chicana queen Becky G, and Latin boy band CNCO.Other Mexican-American acts in the line-up include rising corridos artist Adriel Favela, former Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke, and Monogram. In addition, artists from Mexico, including Latin pop star Sofía Reyes and indie acts Silvana Estrada and Siddhartha, will be performing at the festival. Chilean icon Ana Tijoux, Dominican-Italian star Yendry, and Puerto Rican singer Chesca round out the line-up. Los Dells Festival is taking place on April 2.
Vibra Urbana

Vibra Urbana has the most stacked line-up among the Latin music festivals. For the first time this year, the festival will be visiting Las Vegas from April 30 to May 1. The festival will highlight the legacy of reggaeton music with a line-up that includes pioneers and current stars. Among the pioneers performing are Don Omar, Tego Calderon, Ivy Queen, Jowell y Randy, De La Ghetto, Nicky Jam, and Gente De Zona. The reigning reggaeton stars in the line-up include Rauw Alejandro, Anuel AA, Sech, Lunay, and reggaeton-pop star Becky G. A few rising stars to watch out for are Colombia’s Feid and Manuel Turizo, Puerto Rico’s Lyanno and Mora, and Venezuela’s Danny Ocean and Micro TDH. Dominican dembow will also be represented by Tokischa and Kiko El Crazy. Vibra Urbana has also announced a separate festival in Orlando from June 11-12.
Sueños Festival

Sueños Festival will be taking over Chicago from May 28-29. Among the headliners are Colombian superstar J Balvin and Puerto Rican heavy-hitters Ozuna and Wisin y Yandel. Jhay Cortez is another rising Boricua star taking reggaeton music into the future. What’s great about this smaller line-up is that it highlights the Afro-Latino stars of the genre. Reggaeton music is rooted in Black music, so it’s great to see Puerto Rican rapper Myke Towers, Panamanian singer Sech, and Ozuna as headliners. Tokischa will be performing, as well as, La Gabi, a rising artist who is signed to J Balvin’s Ma G Nation record label. There’s also a bit of Mexican pride sprinkled into the line-up with corridos tumbao stars Natanael Cano and Fuerza Regida.
Mas Flow Festival

Also happening in Chicago is the Mas Flow Festival. The line-up full line-up was just rolled out and it includes Puerto Rican icons Don Omar, Zion y Lennox, Ivy Queen, Tito El Bambino, and De La Ghetto. Along with CNCO, rising stars like Mariah Angeliq, Guaynaa, Manuel Turizo, and Emilia are also headlining. For a great throwback, Nina Sky will also perform at the event. Expect to hear Nina Sky’s classic “Move Ya Body.” The festival will be happening from July 15-17.
LETSGETFR.EE

LETSGETFR.EE is billed as a “socially conscious Carnaval.” The festival has a mission to help close the equity gap for Black, brown, Asian, and other underrepresented groups in the industry. It aims to achieve a diversified workforce across all levels in the industry by 2030. In addition to doing good, LETSGETFR.EE also has an incredible line-up. Among the highlights: hip-hop icon Missy Elliott, Wizkid, Anderson. Paak & The Free Nationals, Jhené Aiko, Jorja Smith, and Major Lazer. Colombian-American star Kali Uchis, who is slaying with her music in English and Spanish, is also one of the headliners. The Latin music performers in the line-up are Ozuna, El Alfa, Lido Pimienta, Yendry, and Bomba Estéreo. It’s going down in Queens, New York, from August 20-21. Besame Mucho Festival

In winter, the Besame Mucho Festival will touch down in L.A. The incredible line-up is split among three stages. At the Rockero Stage, classic bands like Caifanes, Enanitos Verdes, Hombres G, Zoé, and Molotov will perform. Julieta Venegas and Ximena Sariñana will also perform at that stage. The regional Mexican music stage includes bands: Los Tigres Del Norte, Los Ángeles Azules, Bronco, and Banda El Recodo. At the Latin pop stage, Sin Bandera, OV7, Kabah, Elvis Crespo, and La Oreja De Van Gogh will perform. The event is happening on December 3 at the Dodgers Stadium.
